Nearly two months ago I had an idea to get me drawing consistently. It was simple. Pick a subject, any subject and do some studies for a week. Find good reference photos and get to it. This week, I finally got to work using that idea. It took me awhile, but I'm doing it now and that's all that matters.

Horses, that's my subject for this week. So far I'm doing just their faces in various angles. Currently, I have six drawings over 2 days, not too bad if I say so. I might just stick to being that specific for this week and choose the rest of horse anatomy for another week. We shall see. It all depends on how I feel and if I want to draw more horses. If I don't there is no reason to force myself to draw something I don't want to, and I'll just choose another subject for my drawing pleasure.

Hopefully doing these sorts of studies will help improve my skills. On that note, constructive criticism is always welcome on my works. I joined this site in the hopes that I would be driven to draw more and improve my abilities and getting feedback is a key way to making improvements.
